Electrical Refurbishment & Installations
New Installations
We provide electrical services to Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Project Manages, Estate Agents & Consulting Engineers for projects in the commercial, industrial and specialised sectors.
All new electrical wiring or electrical components for a house, factory or any commercial building must be designed and installed in accordance with the Electrical Installation Regulations of 2009 and the South African National Standard 10142 part 1 (Wiring Code). This is necessary to help reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by faulty electrical wiring, much of it installed by unqualified people and DIY enthusiasts.
The simplest and quickest method is to have the work done by a competent person who is a member of a recognized association such as the Electrical Contractors Association.
They adhere to a specific code of ethics and provide a workmanship guarantee. This will provide you with the peace of mind that the electrical conductors and equipment has been properly installed and tested.
Remember, that it remains your responsibility as the user or lessor of the installation, to ensure that the person that you employ, and that the installation that is completed, does comply with the safety regulations. It is also your responsibility, to maintain and ensure the safe use, of such installation and components. Considering all these risks, can you afford not to hire a professional like Dan Electrical?
